Pooler City Council Member Aaron C. Higgins Takes on New Role as Board Member for Family Promise of the Coastal Empire
Savannah, GA – Aaron C. Higgins, a dedicated councilmember in Pooler, GA, has been elected to join the board of directors for Family Promise of the Coastal Empire, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping families experiencing homelessness.
“I am humbled and honored to have the opportunity to serve on the board of Family Promise of the Coastal Empire,” said Higgins. “I have always been passionate about giving back to my community and I am excited to be a part of an organization that is making a real difference in the lives of families in need, particularly during this period of organizational change and growth.”
Family Promise of the Coastal Empire provides shelter, meals, and support services to families experiencing homelessness. The organization works closely with local congregations, volunteers, and other community organizations to provide a comprehensive program that addresses the immediate needs of families while also helping them to achieve long-term stability.

Aaron C. Higgins has been a member of the Pooler City Council since 2020 and also serves on the board of the Pooler Juneteenth Celebration Committee since 2022.
