Pooler City Council Member Aaron C. Higgins Kicks Off Re-Election Campaign with a Fun-Filled Event

Pooler, GA – City Council Member Aaron C. Higgins is pleased to announce a campaign kick-off & fundraising event for his re-election campaign for Pooler City Council at LVL Up Pizza Arcade on May 31.

Since taking office in 2020, Higgins has been a driving force in advocating for responsible growth, infrastructure improvement, and public safety. He spearheaded initiatives to update zoning and alcohol ordinances, provided crucial support to first responders during the COVID-19 pandemic, and advocated for increased transparency and accessibility in government.

“I’m honored to serve my community and am eager to continue to work for the betterment of our city,” said Higgins. “Our families deserve to live where we feel supported through quality development and opportunities for connection.” Higgins is known for being a collaborative member of the current City Council, and he enjoys thorough preparation and careful discussion before taking action. Major accomplishments over the last four years include the completion of Fire Station #5 off Jimmy DeLoach Parkway which drastically improved emergency response times; the widening of Pipemakers Canal from Pooler Parkway to Bloomingdale which alleviated flooding in the area; and attaining a Certificate of Excellence from the Georgia Municipal Association.

In addition to his role on city council, Aaron C. Higgins serves on the boards of several local organizations, including Family Promise of the Coastal Empire and the Pooler Juneteenth Celebration Committee.

The FUNdraiser event, hosted at LVL Up Pizza Arcade on May 31, 2023 at 5:30 p.m., provides an opportunity for community members to enjoy a locally owned business. Tickets include unlimited pizza, soda, and games, and proceeds assist Higgins’s re-election efforts. Much like Higgins himself, this FUNdraiser event will be informative, community-oriented, and, yes, FUN.

Pooler holds its municipal elections on November 7, 2023. To learn more about Aaron C. Higgins and his campaign for re-election, please visit aaronforpooler.com or find him on social media, @aaronforpooler.
